Spray Tanning

A trained spray tan technician sprays the solution to the skin.  The DHA (dihydroxyacetone) is a colorless sugar that reacts with amino acids causing skin to darken over several hours.  This is a dye to the skin so avoid getting sunburned before and after receiving a spray tan, as it doesn't protect your skin from UV rays.  Spray tans usually last around 5-10 days but can fade more quickly for lighter tans or improper post care maintenance.
